March kicks off with a bang as Carnaval fever is still in full swing—be sure to soak in this one-of-a-kind celebration, from the lively parades and chirigotas to the vibrant street parties! And don’t miss El Puerto’s Flamenco Fashion Show, a stunning celebration of Andalusian style and creativity, set in the beautiful Monasterio de la Victoria.
Beyond the festivities, we’re diving into Cádiz’s incredible cocktail and spirits scene. Our Puerto Tour will take you inside Spain’s oldest distillery, where you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the craft of distillation (and, of course, a tasting!).
We’re also hosting three different cocktail tastings this month, each with its own unique theme. But the real highlight? Our brand-new Molecular Gastronomy Cocktail Class, where science and mixology collide for a truly unforgettable experience.

Carnaval de Cádiz 2025 - Thu Feb 27 - Sun 9 Mar 🎭✨The first Carnival weekend is very lively, featuring Saturday night celebrations, Sunday’s choir performances and parade, and Monday’s choir events (a holiday in Cádiz). Throughout the week, carnival group contests take place on various city stages. The second weekend also attracts thousands of visitors to Cádiz.
Rota Events
Carnaval de Rota 2025 - Sat 1 - Sun 9 Mar🎭✨The Carnival events in Rota are diverse, with highlights including the Festival of Musical Groups, the crowning of the Carnival Mermaid and the Children's Mermaid, the opening speech, and the Sunday parade. El Puerto de Santa María Events
Carnaval de El Puerto 2025 - Wed 5 - Sun 9 Mar🎭✨During the Carnaval, all shyness is set aside, making way for a festive and playful atmosphere. Throughout the week, the city is filled with the wit, satire, and irony of the comparsas, chirigotas, and coros, delighting locals and visitors alike.
Flamenco Fashion show in El Puerto - Mar 14–16 -👠🪭 The historic Monasterio de la Victoria will host the IV Pasarela "El Puerto Flamenco", a celebration of flamenco fashion that blends Andalusia’s rich cultural heritage with the creativity of top local and national designers. The event will feature fashion shows, exhibitions, and world-class flamenco performances.
This week long event highlights the generational legacy between flamenco masters and disciples. The program features 45 performances, including 10 world premieres, 2 national debuts, 4 regional debuts, and 3 album presentations.
