Hey everyone! We’re super excited to kick off the new year and get back into the swing of things after the holiday season. This is our first newsletter in this format, and we really hope you enjoy it! We’d love your feedback, so feel free to let us know what you think or if there’s anything we missed or ideas we could include.
Now, let’s talk about all the exciting things happening this month—February is packed with incredible local and cultural events. First up, we have Carnaval and all the gastronomic festivals leading up to it—don’t miss out! It's an unforgettable experience, and the festive atmosphere around Cádiz is absolutely electric.
Also, we have the Flamenco Fashion Show, which I sadly won’t be able to attend this year, but you absolutely should! It’s so worth it, and while you’re there, make sure to enjoy a glass of sherry!
This month also marks the Festival de Jerez, a must-see event packed with flamenco shows, seminars, and workshops. If you’re in the area, I always recommend checking out the Villamarta Theatre—there's something magical about seeing a live performance there!
And don’t forget, we’re hosting our Carnaval Tour around Cádiz. Make sure to sign up and join us for an unforgettable experience!

We attended a show 2 years ago at the Villa Marta theatre. So Cool! I definitely recommend it if you are interested in Art, dance, Flamenco or want to dive into the local culture!

ROTA EVENTS
Motorcycle Weekend - Fri 31 Jan - 2nd Feb 🏍️ - Winter Rally is one of the largest and oldest in Andalusia. It attracts thousands of bikers and visitors, making it a major tourist draw for the weekend from 9:00am -11:59pm.
Ostionada Sunday Feb 2 🦪– The Oyster festival takes place in Plaza de San Antonio starting at 13:00, organized by the Aula de Cultura del Carnaval de Cádiz.
MejillonadaSunday Feb 9 – The Muscle festival is Organized by Peña La Perla de Cádiz, this event will be celebrated at their headquarters starting at 13:00. There will be free muscles and beer.
Gambada Sunday Feb 23 🦐- The Shrimp festival is The organized by Peña La Tertulia de Doña Frasquita, will be held at Peña La Perla de Cádiz starting at 13:00.
Carnaval de Cádiz 2025 - Thu Feb 27 - Sun 9 Mar🎭✨The first Carnival weekend is very lively, featuring Saturday night celebrations, Sunday’s choir performances and parade, and Monday’s choir events (a holiday in Cádiz). Throughout the week, carnival group contests take place on various city stages. The second weekend also attracts thousands of visitors to Cádiz.

Pasarela Flamenca - Returns, celebrating its 18th anniversary, the Pasarela Flamenca Tío Pepe, at Bodegas González Byass. This renowned event showcases flamenco fashion, craftsmanship, culture, music, dance, and gastronomy in a unique setting. A national and international platform, it highlights emerging designers and the latest trends in flamenco fashion.
This week long event highlights the generational legacy between flamenco masters and disciples. The program features 45 performances, including 10 world premieres, 2 national debuts, 4 regional debuts, and 3 album presentations.
