August has officially arrived, bringing long, lazy afternoons, warm evenings, and a calendar packed with reasons to get out and enjoy summer in southern Spain. The July crowds are beginning to head home, while the August holidaymakers are rolling in, bringing with them a whole new summer energy.

That said… does it feel a little quieter this year? Maybe it’s just me, and although parking is still a challenge (because, well… it’s August!), it seems a little easier to get a reservation at your favorite restaurant or find a spot on the beach. Whatever the reason, we’re not complaining! August is still the heart of summer, and we’re excited to make the most of it.

This month is full of fantastic events, from open-air concerts at the Cabaret Festival and artisan summer markets at Bodegas Osborne to magical sunset evenings in the vineyards. If cocktails are more your thing, don’t miss our fabulous Cocktail Tastings this month. Just a quick heads-up: some of our tastings will be held on Saturday instead of Friday, so be sure to check the dates before booking!

🍇 Harvest season is almost here! We’ll soon be announcing the date for our popular Grape Harvest & Wine-Making Experience, where you’ll pick grapes, stomp them the traditional way, and bottle your very own wine to take home. We’ll also be hosting our much-loved Music in the Vineyard evenings, so don’t forget to reserve your spot before they fill up!

If you're looking to escape the crowds and experience one of the most breathtaking coastal walks on the Costa de la Luz, add the Ruta de los Acantilados de Barbate to your summer bucket list.

This scenic trail follows the dramatic cliffs of Barbate through La Breña Natural Park, offering spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean along the way. About halfway through the hike, you'll reach the historic Torre del Tajo, a 16th-century watchtower built to protect the coastline from pirate attacks. It's the perfect combination of nature, history, and unforgettable coastal scenery.
